Pushpendra Rai

Pushpendra Rai, a national of India, is the Director (a/i) and Head of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Office in Singapore, since April 2009. Before taking up his present assignment, Mr. Rai headed the Intellectual Property and Economic Development Division in WIPO headquarters in Geneva.

José Rosell

José Rosell is a partner and Co-chair of Hughes Hubbard’s Arbitration and ADR practice. He is ranked in the top tier of arbitration counsel and arbitrators by the most prominent international directories. He has served either as counsel or arbitrator in more than 100 commercial and investment arbitrations. José is currently a member of the ICC’s International Commission on Arbitration He is listed in the arbitrators’ list of the most prestigious international arbitration institutions. José is currently the Vice-chair of the Dispute Resolution Committee of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association. He has written numerous legal articles and has also lectured in many international conferences and in various universities on international arbitration.

Sandor Schick

Mr. Schick is the Managing Director of Schick & Associates LLC, an international law firm based in Singapore.  Mr. Schick is admitted in New York, where he practiced for over fifteen years before relocating to Asia, and is a registered foreign lawyer in Singapore.  Since coming to Singapore, Mr. Schick has handled some of the highest profile and most complex transactions in the region.  These include the US $14 billion restructuring of Asia Pulp & Paper (“APP”), the acquisition by China Netcom of the assets of Asia Global Crossing, and the privatization of Vietcombank. Mr. Schick’s practice includes the representation of banks, governmental institutions, private equity funds, hedge funds, and other entities involved in cross-border transactions in Southeast Asia and East Asia. 

Mr. Schick is a founding member of the International Insolvency Institute.   Mr. Schick has a law degree from Columbia University School of Law and a doctorate from Harvard University, where he taught before beginning a career in law.

   

Rupali Sharma

Rupali is a Partner in the Mumbai office of the Firm. She is a corporate commercial lawyer with emphasis on aviation and infrastructure. In the aviation sector, she has experience of advising clients in aerospace transactions, including sale and purchase of aircrafts and components, drafting and negotiation of all kinds of leasing, negotiation of major upgrade and maintenance contracts, and sale and lease back transactions.

Sudish Sharma
