Noor has advised in major domestic and international transactions among others in the areas of general commercial law, cross border investment and negotiations, employment, finance and banking (including Islamic Funding), and the Indonesian process towards dispute resolution. Noor is well known for her expertise in Mergers & Acquisitions and has been recognized as an Asia Law Leading Lawyer over the years 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 for professional services in Mergers & Acquisitions and for Islamic Finance in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009.

A Singaporean, Noor is called to the Singapore Bar and has an LL.M from the University of London. Noor is active in Indonesian business and industry circles, and in international legal organisations.

Prior to joining GE, Kaori was Senior International Counsel for Federal Express Corporation, North Pacific Region for 9 years where she became progressively responsible for overseeing Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Guam and Saipan in advising on contracts, claims and ligitation, employment and labor, marketing and communications, regulatory compliance, and government affairs.

Kaori is licensed in Ontario, Canada and practiced law at Cassels Brock in Toronto before returning to Tokyo to join FedEx. Kaori holds JD from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, Dip.SLS from University of Ottawa and BA in Law from Carleton University and Rikkyo University.

Patric is experienced in a broad range of commercial, international trade, trade finance, marine/energy insurance, shipping disputes and casualty work.  His experience ranges from contracts of sale, documentary credit, collateral management and insurance issues (predominantly coverage, defence and subrogation issues) to general shipping litigation for owners, charterers and their respective insurers including advising on claims under charterparties and bills of lading. Patric also has extensive experience of conducting cases arbitration before FOSFA, GAFTA, PORAM, SIAC, HKIAC, CIETAC, RSA, ICC, LCIA and LMAA.

Prior to joining BLG, Patric spent 5 years based in both Shanghai and Hong Kong and therefore has substantial experience of dispute resolution and the necessary understanding of regional issues to assist clients with claims and disputes in Asia generally.

In recent years, Patric has been involved in the Elektrim/Vivendi dispute in London, one of the highest value arbitrations in Europe.

Patric is a regular speaker at marine, energy and trade related conferences and a contributor of articles to publications such as Insurance Day, Maritime Risk International, Asia Insurance Review, as well as BLG’s client newsletter MET notes.

Per Molander heads Mannheimer Swartling’s Environmental Law group and has been active in this field of law since the late 1980s. He is also active in the energy and waste management sectors and is a member of the firm’s Energy Law and Climate Change groups. He has extensive experience in environmental issues in the energy sector and has represented a variety of energy companies in permit procedures under the Environmental Code for various production facilities. He is retained by Svensk Kärnbränslehantering AB (the Swedish company responsible for the proper management of nuclear waste) to act as head counsel in the permit procedure for a planned deep rock disposal facility for nuclear waste generated in Sweden.

He graduated from Lund University in 1984 (LL.M). He then worked in different courts during 1984-1989. After this he worked as a Corporate counsel at Ovako Steel AB from 1990 until 1991 when he joined the law firm Mannheimer Swartling as an Associate. He is a Partner in the firm since 1997.

His publications include Proposed liability regime for contaminated land may cause unforeseen costs for land users, landowners, shareholders and creditors, 1998; The New Swedish Environmental Code, In Brief Magazine, November 1999; Swedish Environmental law - a brief presentation, Legalease, October 1999.

He is a member of the Swedish Bar Association, the Swedish Environment Law Organisation, the International Bar Association and the Inter-Pacific Bar Association.
