Rajan GovilRajan Govil joined the IMF-Singapore Regional Training Institute (STI) in July 2007 as an International Consultant Economist. Mr. Govil has worked with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) earlier from 2001-2006. He worked with the Middle East and Central Asia Department of the IMF in Washington, D.C. from 2004-2006 and at the STI in Singapore from 2001-2004. He was a Visiting Professor at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore in India from July 2006 to July 2007. Before joining the IMF in 2001, Mr. Govil worked with HSBC for five years as an economist for Asia ex-Japan. He obtained his Ph. D. in Economics from Vanderbilt University, U.S.A. in 1996. |
